Nice temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Located on the road to swargate. this temple has nice ambiance. People come here to offer their worship.Ganpati Temple Must SeeI heard about this temple from some of my local friends, so I was curious about this temple. On one of my weekend, on the way to ma na pa to swargate we saw a side road towards temple, so we decided to visit the temple, on the spot. The temple is very nice. There are two temples one is Lord Ganesha, with another is of Lord Shiva, looks one of the oldest temple. Both the temples are well maintained, but the complex from outside is not maintained. The river just beside the temple is very clean shops of modak are there. And they provide free storage space for your luggage there and shoe storage space is also provided by the temple. The area in front of the temple is on the main road so it is rarely crowded but always crowded on weekends.

MUST MUST place to visit at Pune and seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. There is a quick darshan, darshan pass counter and free Darshan as well (Entrance/ Line starts from the left side when facing the temple) You can offer flowers and sweets to Ganesh. Lots of sweets shops available on the left side of the temple. On Tuesdays, one might find lengthy queue and waiting time varies during the day.Free footwear/shoes stands are also available. The temple is well decorated and on your way out you can purchase Ganesh idols and other gift articles from gift shop.Phones are allowed inside however, Photography is not allowed. Ladies also perform special puja inside.Recommendation:✓ For tourists: Would recommend first visit Shaniwar Wada, then Ganesh temple and later explore nearby LAXMI market.Happy to see lots of people found the review helpful and liked it.
