Opening Numbers
A musical’s first song comes with a lot of pressure. It sets the scene, introduces the characters, establishes the tone, and gets the audience excited for the upcoming story. It’s a tough challenge, but when it works, the audience knows they’re in for an adventure. Here are some of our favorites:
