BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana is back in action Tuesday against Iowa.
The Hoosiers and Hawkeyes enter this game with identical 12-8 overall records and tied for seventh in the Big Ten at 4-5. Indiana suffered a close loss at No. 10 Illinois on Saturday, while Iowa won 88-78 at Michigan.
Indiana coach Mike Woodson is looking for his first win in three years against Iowa, which averages the second-most points scored but also the second-most points allowed per game among Big Ten teams.

Meet the coaches
- Fran McCaffery, Iowa: McCaffery is in his 14th season at Iowa with a273–184 overall record and a 130–123 record in regular season Big Ten play. Iowa has made the NCAA Tournament seven times under McCaffery, but has never reached the Sweet 16. Iowa won the 2022 Big Ten Tournament, but has not finished higher than third in the regular season conference standings. Prior to Iowa, McCaffery went 112–51 in five seasons at Siena with three MAAC titles and three NCAA Tournament appearances. McCaffery also coaches at UNC Greensboro and Lehigh dating back to 1985. He played point guard at Wake Forest and Penn from 1977-82.
- Mike Woodson, Indiana: Woodson is in his third season at Indiana with a 56-33 overall record and a 25-23 mark in regular season Big Ten play. Woodson has NBA head coaching experience with the Atlanta Hawks from 2004-10 and the New York Knicks from 2012-14.
